Junior Product Developer

About This Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Product Developer based in India to support our product and fabric development for international brands. You will work closely with our headquarters in France, regional teams across Europe/Asia, and key suppliers.

This position is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who understands market trends and wants to grow within a dynamic buying office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support product and fabric development aligned with brand DNA, current trends, and commercial needs.
• Coordinate closely with brands, internal cross-functional teams, and suppliers throughout the entire lifecycle of garment creation.
• Surrogate sample follow-ups, conduct quality checks (QC), and track shipments for timely approvals.
• Assist in creating compelling presentations and product overviews for buyers.
• Collaborate with merchandising teams on sourcing fabrics and trims to ensure cost-efficiency and style compliance.
• Support showroom visits, supplier meetings, and buyer trips (delivered from India).
• Monitor global market trends through regular visits to showrooms, trade markets, and store floors.

Skills & Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years in product development, sourcing, or a buying office environment (Entry-to-Mid level).
• Industry Knowledge: Background in textiles, garments, fashion design, or related fields.
• Market Awareness: Exposure to European customers is highly desirable; familiarity with the French market is an advantage.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and coordination abilities. You must be organized, proactive, and a collaborative team player.
• Languages: Comfortable working in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of French/French environment is a plus given the HQ location.
