Junior PHP Full Stack Engineer

Miratech is seeking a highly motivated Junior PHP Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chennai, India. This role offers the exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions on impactful projects within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of backend and front-end solutions for the Studio platform.
• Support enhancements for the drag-and-drop flow builder, enabling voice, SMS, and chatbot channels.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver new features.
• Write clean, maintainable code, adhering to best practices for performance, security, and reliability.
• Develop basic tests and documentation to ensure high-quality releases.
• Explore and learn about emerging AI technologies, including Azure OpenAI, Google AI, IBM Watson, and Amazon Lex.
• Actively participate in agile development processes and continuous improvement initiatives, such as CI/CD and automation.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of professional software development experience with a robust full-stack background.
• Proficiency in PHP with the ability to produce clean, maintainable code.
• Experience with JavaScript, with a preference for Vue.js.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, responsive design principles, and modern front-end development practices.
• Strong problem-solving acumen and a keen eagerness to learn new technologies, tools, and methodologies.
• Ability to work autonomously while being a proactive and collaborative team member.
• A strong desire for professional growth, adaptability to evolving requirements, and a willingness to tackle challenging tasks.
• A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have:

• A foundational understanding of server-side technologies and databases such as MySQL or MongoDB.
• An interest in building scalable, maintainable systems and applying best practices for performance, code quality, and security.
• Familiarity with cloud services, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
