junior Network Administrator

Description

We are seeking a motivated Junior Network Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in network administration and will assist in maintaining the integrity and performance of our network systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Assist in the installation and configuration of network equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
• Perform regular network performance assessments and optimizations.
• Support the implementation of network security measures and best practices.
• Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in network administration or related roles.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and software.
• Familiarity with Cisco networking equipment and configurations.
• Basic knowledge of network security protocols and practices.
• Certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
