Junior Java Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java microservices using Spring Boot.
• Assist in designing and implementing scalable and reliable features.
• Troubleshoot and provide support for existing services under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA teams, and peers to deliver high-quality software.
• Learn and apply best practices for cloud-based application development.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Java development with Spring Boot.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A foundational understanding of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud concepts (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous learning.
• General understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.

Nice to Have:

• Prior exposure to Docker or other containerized environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as Google BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions.
