Junior Java Developer - Production Support

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Support: Provide L1/L2 support for payment applications, monitor system health, and escalate critical issues.
• Code Debugging: Analyze and debug issues within microservice-based applications, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
• Unix/Linux Proficiency: Utilize basic Unix/Linux commands for navigating logs, executing commands, and running monitoring scripts.
• Log Analysis: Analyze application logs and database records to diagnose and troubleshoot production issues.
• Spring Projects & Hibernate: Work with Spring Boot and Spring Data JPA, and debug existing RESTful API codebases.
• Data Management: Understand RDBMS concepts and write basic queries for troubleshooting. Exposure to NoSQL databases (Cassandra) and caching solutions (Redis/Keydb) is a plus.
• Kafka and Messaging: Troubleshoot Kafka consumers/producers and message flow issues, demonstrating familiarity with messaging concepts.
• Incident Management: Familiarity with incident management processes and ticketing tools is beneficial.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with senior developers, support teams, and operations to resolve issues.
• Documentation: Assist in maintaining runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and known-issue documentation.
• SDLC & Process Adherence: Follow established support processes, coding standards, and escalation protocols.
