Ergobite is seeking a passionate and hands-on Junior Generative AI Engineer for its Pune, India office. This role is perfect for individuals with 1-2 years of experience eager to dive into real-world Generative AI applications. You'll build foundational knowledge in Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI-powered applications within a dynamic product environment. Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams, you will develop, test, and deploy innovative Gen AI-based features and automation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Engage in prompt engineering and optimization to enhance model outputs.
- Construct basic AI-powered chatbots, assistants, and content automation tools.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) based workflows at a foundational level.
- Experiment with OpenAI and other LLM APIs for practical use cases.
- Develop backend services utilizing Python.
- Integrate Gen AI features through REST APIs.
- Process structured and unstructured data effectively.
- Support the deployment of AI features into production environments.
- Test, evaluate, and refine prompt responses for optimal performance.
- Monitor AI outputs for accuracy, potential bias, and relevance.
- Focus on improving performance and optimizing API usage costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1-2 years of practical experience in Python development.
- A fundamental understanding of Generative AI concepts and LLMs.
- Experience with OpenAI APIs or comparable LLM platforms.
- Proficiency in prompt engineering techniques.
- Familiarity with orchestration frameworks like LangChain.
- Understanding of REST APIs and backend integration principles.
- Basic knowledge of database systems (MySQL/PostgreSQL or NoSQL).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work from the Pune office.
- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone or FAISS.
- Basic comprehension of embeddings and RAG architecture.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven experience building AI-powered chatbots or automation tools.
- Awareness of AI ethics and responsible AI practices.
- A curious mindset towards AI trends and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Capacity to work autonomously in a fast-paced setting.
- Enthusiasm for participating in brainstorming sessions for new AI features.
