Junior Full Stack Engineer

BolsterBiz is seeking a motivated Junior Full Stack Engineer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team. This role involves working with our US-based team, requiring a shift from approximately 6 PM to 3 AM IST. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, responsive web development, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Functional Components, and Redux. Familiarity with Material UI, AWS, GCP, RUST, and modern AI-assisted IDEs like Cursor is a significant advantage.

On the backend, proficiency in Node.js, Express, and GraphQL is essential, alongside a basic understanding of API development. Experience with testing frameworks such as JEST or Testing Library is preferred. Key responsibilities include designing and developing responsive web applications, implementing frontend logic for interactive user interfaces, and developing backend services and APIs. You will collaborate with Senior Engineers, translate project requirements into solutions, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver new features. Database management for systems like Postgres, MySQL, BigQuery, and Spanner, as well as application deployment and management on cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), are integral parts of the role. Continuous learning and staying updated with industry best practices are expected. Code management and collaboration will be conducted via GitHub or GitLab using standardized version control workflows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of professional experience as a Full Stack or Frontend/Backend Developer.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web development.
• Practical experience with Material UI.
• Strong foundation in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux, and Functional Components.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and Express; familiarity with GraphQL.
• Exposure to testing frameworks like JEST and Testing Library.
• Experience with cloud platforms like GCP or AWS.
• Basic experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL).
