Role Overview:

The Junior Executive IT Infrastructure will be instrumental in supporting, maintaining, and improving Royaloak's IT systems and network infrastructure. This role demands hands-on expertise in desktop support, network configuration, security implementation, and cloud-based service administration, contributing to the smooth operation of IT services in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive technical support for desktop systems, adeptly troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
2. Install, configure, and maintain desktop software, ensuring all patches and updates are applied promptly.
3. Configure system settings, perform regular system updates, and rigorously ensure endpoint security.
4. Assist with critical system and data backups, disaster recovery planning, and effective patch management.
5. Set up Outlook profiles and proficiently resolve mail-related connectivity issues.
6. Manage and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Azure AD.
7. Configure and maintain robust security controls such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and Self-Service Password Reset.
8. Utilize expertise in DVR, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and Routing to ensure efficient network operations.
9. Configure and troubleshoot various network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and access points.
10. Manage VPN connections, encompassing Site-to-Site, SSL VPN, and Remote Access solutions.
11. Implement and maintain network protection measures like Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems (IPS/IDS), Web Filtering, and Application Control.
12. Support network segmentation strategies and contribute to the implementation of Zero Trust architecture.
13. Actively participate in the planning and deployment of new IT infrastructure projects and technology initiatives.
14. Meticulously document technical procedures, system configurations, and network diagrams.
15. Train and guide end-users on hardware, software, and essential IT best practices to foster user proficiency.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2. Strong proficiency in Windows and MacOS environments.
3. Demonstrated familiarity with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
4. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
5. Hands-on experience with configuring DVR, switches, routers, and firewalls.
6. Understanding of network security concepts and tools such as IPS/IDS, VPNs, and Zero Trust principles.
7. Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
8. Excellent communication and customer service skills, essential for effective user support.
