Role: Junior Engineer, Products - Python

Required Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of work experience with strong Linux/UNIX system administration knowledge (Ubuntu/Debian required; *BSD is a plus).
  • Extensive CLI system administration skills.
  • Able to write scripts in Python and UNIX shell languages (SH, BASH, CSH).
  • Ability to develop RESTful APIs using Python coding.
  • Experience developing/deploying Container/Docker applications.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Basic networking knowledge (IP, firewalls, wireless).
  • Some experience with Cloud services: AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack, VMWare, VirtualBox.
  • Familiarity with package management tools like APT, Yum, RPM.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform (plus).
