Junior Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior JavaScript/TypeScript Developer to join our remote engineering team based near Bengaluru, India. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on both support tickets and core development tasks, ensuring smooth application performance and timely issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new features and maintain existing codebases using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.
• Collaborate with team members to investigate and resolve technical challenges.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Assist in documenting features, workflows, and solutions.

Required Skills

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of Node.js and Express.
• Experience working with at least one major database: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with writing efficient queries, optimizing performance, and handling data models.
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting issues in production environments.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Data Warehouse.
• Basic knowledge of BigQuery or other large-scale analytics databases.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Frontend experience with React, Angular, or Vue.
