Junior Developer AIS

KPMG Global Services (KGS) India is seeking a Junior Azure Integration Services (AIS) Developer to join our dynamic Capability Hubs team in Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Telangana. This role is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to build a strong foundation in cloud integration technologies.

As a Junior AIS Developer, you will support the development, testing, and deployment of cloud-based integrations utilizing Azure Integration Services under the guidance of senior technical leads. You will focus on implementing integration designs and building components using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure messaging services. This position offers hands-on experience with cloud integration, APIs, messaging patterns, and enterprise development best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop integration workflows following approved High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
• Implement integrations using Azure Logic Apps (Consumption or Standard) and/or Azure Function Apps.
• Support various integration patterns including synchronous, asynchronous, publish-subscribe, and file-based.
• Assist with data mapping, transformation, and basic orchestration between source and target systems.
• Implement standard error handling and configurable retry mechanisms in accordance with integration guidelines.
• Conduct unit testing for integration components and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Maintain and update technical documentation, including integration flow diagrams and interface specifications.
• Support CI/CD pipeline execution and validate deployments across different environments.
• Collaborate with senior developers and DevOps teams to resolve technical and functional issues.

Required Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience in application development, middleware development, or integration support.
• Basic hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps or Azure Functions.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP concepts, messaging, and integration fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Git-based source control systems.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes is beneficial.
• A strong desire to learn Azure integration technologies, patterns, and design principles.
• Exposure to Azure Integration Services like Service Bus and Event Grid is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Azure AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals) certification.
• Microsoft Azure AZ-204 (Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure) certification.
• Prior exposure to enterprise integration or middleware platforms.
