Junior Data Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Engineer to join our data team in Gurgaon/Gurugram, India. In this role, you will contribute to building and maintaining data pipelines, supporting analytics and reporting initiatives, and developing our data infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and data models for integrated analytics solutions.
• Support the ingestion, cleaning, transformation, and flow of structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to deliver reliable datasets.
• Monitor data workflows, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
• Ensure downstream data quality and integrity.
• Participate in maintaining data documentation, dictionaries, and metadata.
• Learn and apply best practices related to data architecture, data modeling, and data governance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• Foundational experience with Python, SQL, DAX, and Power BI.
• Understanding of relational databases.
• Proficient use of version control tools such as Git.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a data engineering or data analytics role.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to data pipeline tools such as Databricks or Fabric.
• Knowledge of APIs and data integration methods.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud (coursework or project experience is acceptable).
