Junior Data Engineer

Welspun World, a leading Indian conglomerate, is seeking a skilled Junior Data Engineer for our Ahmedabad, India operations. This permanent role is ideal for individuals with 2-4 years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines and platforms within a cloud environment. The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in SQL, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory (ADF), with a proven ability to handle large datasets. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and optimizing ETL/ELT data pipelines using ADF, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, and maintaining high standards of data quality, reliability, and security. You will leverage SQL for complex data analysis and extraction, work with Databricks for large-scale data processing and insights, and troubleshoot data-related issues. Continuous monitoring and improvement of data pipeline performance are key aspects of this role. We are looking for individuals with a strong Business & Commercial acumen, Entrepreneurial spirit, Global Mind-set, People Excellence, and expert-level proficiency in SQL, along with proficient skills in ADF and basic skills in Databricks and Python.
