Junior Cybersecurity Analyst - Remote Contract
Crossing Hurdles is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Expert for a short-term contract role. This remote position requires a commitment of 8 hours per day, with a 4-hour overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST). The contract duration is 1 month, starting immediately.
Role Responsibilities:
- Design and develop multi-vulnerability codebases in Go, Python, Node.js, or Rust.
- Create realistic multi-stage attack chain scenarios.
- Build deterministic evaluation frameworks using containerized environments.
- Write security test cases and exploit checks.
- Analyze AI model outputs and reasoning related to security vulnerabilities.
- Craft adversarial security scenarios with obfuscated code and edge-case logic.
- Develop reproducible and scalable evaluation benchmarks for AI systems.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, application security, or vulnerability research.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability discovery, bug bounty, red teaming, or CTFs.
- Experience with secure code review and production-grade patching.
- Strong understanding of web security, SSRF, injection attacks, cryptographic vulnerabilities, and filesystem vulnerabilities.
- Experience with security tools such as SAST, fuzzing, or IAST.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following languages: Go, Python, Node.js, Rust.
- Familiarity with Docker, Linux internals, and automated testing frameworks.
