Junior Android Developer

We are looking for a curious and adaptable individual who thrives in dynamic environments and is eager to contribute meaningfully. You will have the opportunity to own and deliver end-to-end Android features, from initial design and development through testing and deployment. This role involves rapid prototyping, iterative development in a high-feedback loop, and crafting exceptional user interfaces. You will work extensively with Kotlin, Firebase, and Android SDKs, collaborating directly with founders, product managers, and designers, fostering a culture of transparency and shared decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end ownership of Android features, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on new features.
• Develop high-quality, performant, and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Deeply engage with Kotlin, Firebase, and Android SDKs.
• Collaborate closely with founders, PMs, and designers without hierarchical barriers.
• Contribute to technical decisions, team culture, and the overall product vision.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in Android development.
• Proven experience building and launching applications from scratch.
• At least one app published on the Google Play Store.
• A strong desire to build impactful, world-class products.
• Proactive ownership and a solution-oriented mindset.
• High energy, low ego, and a willingness to take on diverse responsibilities.
• Eagerness to participate in critical 0-to-1 decision-making processes.
