Jr. ML Engineer

Bosch is seeking a motivated Junior Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in Time Series analysis to join our advanced engineering team. This role involves developing high-quality AI solutions for Corporate Research (CR). You will work with time series data and tabular data, collaborating with senior engineers and researchers to implement ML algorithms and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and implementing ML algorithms for regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning.
• Preprocess and augment data to ensure high-quality input for model training and evaluation.
• Support model training, optimization for accuracy, performance, and scalability, and performance metric assessment.
• Integrate AI solutions into existing applications and systems through hands-on software development.
• Deploy and monitor ML models in production environments, implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in testing and debugging to ensure algorithm robustness and accuracy.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of algorithms, experiments, and code.
• Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Required Skills:

• Technical Foundations: Strong understanding of Linear Algebra, Multivariate Calculus, Probability and stochastic processes, Optimization methods, and Feature Engineering.
• Algorithms: Experience with Gradient Boosted Trees, Explainable Boosted Machines, KNC.
• Tools & Libraries: Proficiency in Scikit Learn, tsfresh, xgboost, pandas, lighgbm, NumPy.
• Familiarity with MLOps frameworks like mlflow.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of widely used ML techniques and algorithms.
• Proficiency in Python; knowledge of C++ or Java is an advantage.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Ability to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Qualifications:

• BE/MS/M. Tech in Electronics or Computer Science.

Experience:

• 3 - 4 years of experience.
