About The Role
We are looking for a Jr. Data Analyst – Data Visualization to join our growing Data & AI team in Chennai, India. In this role, you will be responsible for developing insightful dashboards, reports, and visualizations that help business stakeholders make data-driven decisions. You will work closely with business teams, data engineers, and analytics professionals to transform raw data into meaningful insights.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or Looker.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into impactful visualizations and KPI-driven reports tailored for the Chennai market.
- Extract, cleanse, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, data engineering units, and application developers to resolve reporting issues.
- Perform rigorous data quality checks to maintain consistency of all reports generated for Indian operations.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation outlining reporting logic, dashboard specifications, and best practices.
- Support BI governance frameworks and visualization standards aligned with industry benchmarks.
- Deliver actionable insights that directly drive strategic business decision-making for clients across sectors.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau
- Strong knowledge of SQL (MS SQL/MySQL)
- Proven expertise in Data Visualization, Dashboard Development, and Reporting within the Indian tech landscape.
- Solid understanding of Data Analysis methodologies and KPI Reporting frameworks.
- Ability to efficiently work with large datasets and perform comprehensive data validation tasks.
- Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder management across diverse teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Python programming
- Familiarity with Looker, Qlik Sense / QlikView, Tableau Prep, Azure SQL Database, SSRS, JavaScript, and REST APIs integration.
- Solid grasp of Data Modeling techniques and Data Governance concepts relevant to global enterprises.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field preferred for candidates based in Chennai, India.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in Data Analytics, BI Reporting, or Data Visualization roles within the Indian market.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and translate complex requirements into user-friendly dashboards and reports that enhance operational efficiency for our clients globally.
