Full Job Description
Develop security automation and APIs in the Public Cloud across key security pillars: IAM, CICD Security, Security Logging, Incident Response, Data Protection, Compliance Validation, Security Analytics, Vulnerability Management, and Platform/Application Threat Modeling. Collaborate with Security Platform and Services teams to integrate existing security solutions and advocate for information security policies to enable business risk management effectively.
Perform unauthenticated and authenticated vulnerability assessments (VA) and penetration testing (PT) for servers, applications, and network/security/infrastructure devices annually. Create comprehensive assessment reports detailing vulnerabilities, risk categorization, impact assessment, and remediation recommendations. Provide technical support and explain issues in layman’s terms to business teams.
Hands-on experience with automated vulnerability and web scanners (e.g., Qualys, Nessus, Burp Suite Pro). Strong knowledge of Windows/UNIX, networking, security, and cloud environments. Deep expertise in OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, and common web application attack vectors (e.g., SQL injection, XSS, CSRF). Familiarity with risk-based vulnerability management, TVM products (e.g., Kenna Security), and risk rating standards (e.g., DREAD, CVSS).
3-5 years of proven experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing. Mandatory: 3-5+ years in Cloud and Network Security, graduate degree in Computer Science/IT/Cybersecurity, and certification in Cloud Security (e.g., CEH, CISSP).
Automate VAPT workflows to reduce manual efforts. Implement risk-based approaches to vulnerability management. Research and disseminate the latest security best practices. Prepare audit reports, findings trackers, and security policies. Mentor team members on technical/functional expertise. Manage stakeholder communication with IT, Application, Development, and Business teams.
