Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Android Kotlin developer with strong expertise in Kotlin. The role involves building high-performance, scalable Android applications. The ideal candidate will possess solid experience in API integration, a thorough understanding of Android app architecture, and the ability to lead and mentor an Android development team. Prior experience in the medical/healthcare domain and mobile app design will be considered a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
• Integrate mobile applications with backend systems via RESTful APIs.
• Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of Android applications.
• Lead and mentor the Android development team.
• Participate in technical architecture and design discussions.
• Collaborate effectively with backend developers, designers, and product managers.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Maintain proper technical documentation and development workflows.
• Ensure Google Play Store compliance and adherence to deployment best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years of hands-on experience in Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
• Solid experience in API integration.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack components, and design patterns.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Medical/Healthcare domain applications.
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance and standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR – a plus).
• Experience in mobile app UI/UX design principles.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for Android applications.
• Graduate from a reputed university.
