Capgemini is seeking a skilled Java Support Engineer with experience in Java Maintenance Development (L3) and a focus on Java Specialist roles. This position is based in Chennai and requires a strong foundation in core Java, J2EE, and related technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in core Java maintenance development, operating at L3 support level.
• Develop and maintain microservices architecture using Spring Boot.
• Proficiently work with RESTful APIs, Java 8 features, and Kafka for data streaming.
• Utilize version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab for code management.
• Perform database operations using SQL and work within Unix environments.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues with strong programming and analytical skills.
• Learn and adapt to new technologies enthusiastically.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude with strong commitment to job responsibilities.
