Full Job Description
Role: Java Spring Boot Developer
Location: Bengaluru
Educational Requirements:
BSc, BTech, BCA, MCA, MTech, or MSc in relevant fields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance Java-based applications using Spring Boot.
- Architect and maintain scalable Microservices solutions and RESTful APIs.
- Analyze business requirements to deliver robust technical implementations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Analysts, Product Owners, QA teams, and stakeholders.
- Ensure security compliance and optimize application performance.
- Integrate systems with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and cloud platforms via third-party services.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews adhering to industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot bugs and refactor legacy or existing applications for efficiency.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation to support seamless production deployments.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Core Java (versions 8/11/17+)
- Demonstrable experience with Spring Boot
- In-depth knowledge of the Spring Ecosystem: Framework, MVC, Data JPA, Security
- Solid grasp of Microservices Architecture patterns
- Expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with Hibernate/JPA for ORM persistence
- Advanced SQL skills across major database engines (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- Versatility with Version Control Systems like Git
- Comfortable using Build Tools: Maven or Gradle
- Solid unit testing background using JUnit and Mockito
