Java Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Noida-based development team. As part of Welocalize, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the globe to build scalable platforms for clients in sectors like logistics, healthcare, and automotive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate strong Object-Oriented Programming skills, preferably using Java within a microservices architecture.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code, actively participating in peer code reviews to ensure high quality standards.
• Take ownership of the delivery of complex system components from initial design through deployment on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to identify opportunities for building scalable platforms that enhance engineering productivity.
• Optimize database queries and architect efficient data storage solutions using both SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) technologies.
• Leverage deep knowledge of architectural patterns like RESTful Services, Integration Architecture, and Microservices.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications quickly to resolve issues related to APIs built with Spring Framework and NodeJS.
• Ensure all solutions adhere to security-first principles, utilizing OWASP practices, OAuth, JWT, and Spring Security.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT trends, applying best practices such as CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker.
• Prioritize quality deliverables through automated testing platforms for unit, integration, and acceptance tests (JUnit, Mockito).
• Cultivate a continuous improvement mindset throughout the SDLC, questioning assumptions to drive innovation.
• Balance long-term architectural vision with short-term project priorities in design decisions.

Technical Skills Required:

• Languages & Frameworks: Java (Core), NodeJS, Spring Boot/ MVC/Data, Hibernate, MyBatis.
• Databases: MySQL, MongoDB.
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Docker, Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD Pipelines.
• Testing Tools: JUnit, Mockito, Postman.
• Security Standards: OAuth2, JWT, Spring Security, OWASP Top 10 knowledge preferred.
