Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary Java Full Stack Lead (Director Level) to join our Finance Technology team. In this greenfield project, you will design and deliver scalable enterprise-grade reporting solutions while driving the adoption of GenAI tools like Copilot to enhance automation and developer productivity.
About Our Team
The FINTECH division leverages a state-of-the-art multi-terabyte data warehouse to power regulatory reporting, general ledger calculations, securities bookkeeping, and tax filing. This role sits at the intersection of deep technical expertise in Java Spring Boot and Angular, strategic business acumen, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Architecture: Architect robust systems using Java, Angular, and modern cloud technologies while evaluating build vs. buy strategies for new reporting solutions.
- Pioneer AI Integration: Drive the adoption of GenAI practices including automated code review, test case generation, and intelligent data analysis to boost team productivity.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Guide a high-performing engineering team, fostering technical excellence in an agile environment with strong CI/CD pipelines.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate cross-functionally with product owners and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with global financial goals.
What You Bring
- Technical Depth: 5+ years in full-stack Java development (Spring Boot, REST APIs) with secondary proficiency in Angular or React.
- AI Proficiency: Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools for software development and automation.
- Domain Expertise: Strong background in enterprise applications, preferably within finance/investment banking environments.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, manage global stakeholder relationships, and drive business impact through innovation.
Additional Skills
Nice-to-haves include experience with Power BI, Apache Airflow, OLAP tools, and workflow automation frameworks. A passion for continuous learning in emerging tech stacks is essential.
