About the Role: Java Architect

Location: Chennai (Nungambakkam), Tamil Nadu

Key Responsibilities:

• Architecture & Product Design: Own end-to-end architecture for high-throughput, low-latency services. Define APIs, data models, caching, and event flows using Domain-Driven Design and Microservices patterns.
• Full-Stack Engineering (Java-First): Build backend services in Java/Spring Boot; design REST/gRPC APIs and asynchronous pipelines. Contribute to front-end development ensuring cohesive UX with strong performance budgets.
• High-Frequency Transaction Systems: Design systems for throughput, concurrency, and fault-tolerance (bulkheads, circuit breakers). Tune JVM, thread pools, GC, and establish SLOs/p95 latency targets. Implement event streaming with Kafka semantics.
• Security & Compliance: Champion IAM/CIAM patterns (OAuth2/OIDC), secrets management, KMS, and robust RBAC/ABAC. Embed threat modelling into the SDLC.
• Reliability & Observability: Define SLO/SLI/SLA metrics. Implement tracing/metrics/logging dashboards (ELK/Grafana). Lead incident reviews and resilience tests (chaos, failover).
