Java Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Java Architect (10+ years experience) to lead architecture design for high-throughput, low-latency systems within our FINTECH domain in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architecture & Product Design: Own end-to-end architectures for distributed services and user-facing apps. Define APIs, data models, caching strategies, partitioning/sharding, and event flows using Domain-Driven Design.
• Full-Stack Engineering (Java-First): Build robust backend services in Java/Spring Boot with REST/gRPC APIs. Contribute to front-end components ensuring strong UX performance and accessibility.
• High-Frequency Transaction Systems: Design systems for concurrency and fault-tolerance using Kafka, circuit breakers, and idempotency patterns.
• Security & Compliance: Champion IAM/CIAM patterns (OAuth2/OIDC), secrets management, and threat modelling to ensure a secure-by-default environment.
• Reliability & Observability: Define SLOs/SLAs, implement tracing/metrics dashboards, and lead incident reviews for resilience testing.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in software engineering with strong Java/Spring expertise.
• Proven experience designing high-availability systems on AWS/Cloud-native environments (K8s).
• Expertise in Blue/Green and Canary deployments.
• Background in BFSI, payments, or cybersecurity platforms preferred. Strong system design skills required to influence architecture across teams.
