Java Programmer

About the Role

Uffizio is seeking a skilled Java Developer with 2-4 years of hands-on experience to join our team in Ahmedabad, India. You will be instrumental in building robust backend applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. A strong understanding of database management, production server operations, and modern software development methodologies is essential.

This role also requires proficiency in leveraging AI tools, including Prompt Engineering and AI-assisted coding, to enhance development speed and maintain high-quality feature delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot for accelerated development, debugging, and optimization.
• Work with various databases including MySQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
• Understand and implement microservice architecture principles.
• Monitor production servers, analyze logs, and resolve issues.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams during sprint cycles.
• Provide guidance and support to a team of 12 junior developers.
• Participate actively in code reviews and sprint update meetings.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Good knowledge of database systems: MySQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
• Proven experience with REST APIs and backend integrations.
• Solid understanding of server architecture and production debugging techniques.
• Hands-on experience with AI prompt-based development for efficient delivery.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience
