This role involves leading the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance, scalable Java applications. You will drive automation initiatives, including the development of automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code. Key responsibilities include architecting and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD, managing cloud resources with Terraform or Ansible, and establishing automated testing strategies for Java applications. You will mentor team members on automation best practices, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and leverage containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for streamlined deployments. Implementing and maintaining automated monitoring and alerting systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack is also crucial for ensuring application performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate will possess over 6 years of extensive Java development experience, with expertise in Java EE or Spring Framework. A proven track record in automation, including scripting languages like Python and Shell scripting, is required. Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing frameworks is essential, along with proficiency in automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, or Ansible. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities are necessary for success in this role. Certifications in relevant technologies are a plus.
