Java Developer - Murex Role

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with a strong understanding of financial trading platforms. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Java versions 8, 11, or 17 and above. Experience with Murex Open Connect/C2 is highly preferred. This role involves developing and maintaining robust Java applications within a financial services environment. You will be working with modern Java frameworks and tools, focusing on building high-performance and scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Java applications leveraging Java 8/11/17 and later.
• Utilize Spring Boot and other Spring framework services such as Spring JMS and JPA.
• Implement and manage Apache Camel for robust endpoint handling.
• Work with ORM tools like Hibernate.
• Engage with Oracle databases using SQL and JDBC.
• Handle XML, XQuery, XSL, and XPath for data manipulation.
• Develop Java applications utilizing WebSockets.
• Ensure efficient Java memory management, garbage collection, and understanding of core Java functionalities.
• Manage Java/Spring transactions, including XA Transactions.
• Design and implement Service-Oriented Architectures.
• Utilize Java Message Service (JMS) API.
• Perform Java XML parsing and coding.
• Deploy and manage applications on Linux/Unix and Windows platforms.
