Senior Java Software Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to architect and implement progressive, best-in-class solutions for RESTful services, enterprise applications, and complex data systems. This role is ideal for experienced professionals comfortable working in Agile environments within cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in software engineering (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 5 years, or a Master's degree plus 5+ years. Strong Agile methodology background is preferred.
• Core Java Expertise: Proficiency in Core Java and JDK 11+, including solid understanding of design patterns and core concepts.
• Development Stack: Hands-on experience with J2EE, Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate for persistence, Maven for build management, Git/Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines, and JSON RESTful web service development. Unit and Integration testing using JUnit is essential.
• Data & Messaging: Proficiency in JDBC, RDBMS, NoSQL (Cassandra), Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ, and handling high-volume data streams.
• Cloud & Containers: Experience developing applications in cloud environments with a strong preference for Microsoft Azure. Expertise in containerization using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes is required.
