Java Developer

Position Overview

The hiring client is seeking a highly qualified Python Developer to develop and maintain scalable AWS-hosted web applications. This role combines robust Python back-end development with React front-end expertise, requiring close collaboration with data modelers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain modern web applications using React and Python
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code adhering to best practices
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot technical issues effectively
• Participate in rigorous code reviews while following established development standards
• Ensure full compliance with Client Data standards and procedures
• Document data ownership and establish integrations with enterprise data repositories
• Collaborate directly with business users, analysts, and data modelers

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 5+ years of enterprise software development experience
• Strong Python programming skills with OOP principles
• Experience with pandas, NumPy, datetime, and regular expressions
• 2 years of front-end development using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• 1 year of SQL Server experience including queries and stored procedures
• Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket/GitLab for version control
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and technical documentation tools

Bonus Skills:

We value candidates with cloud platform knowledge (AWS/Azure) and exposure to data processing pipelines like ETL/ELT.
