Department: ATCI Equus Tribe
Business Line/Function: Arval Equus Engineer / Developer
Position Purpose
As an Engineer/Developer within the Arval Equus Tribe, you will be an integral part of the development team, responsible for creating and maintaining robust applications. This role specifically focuses on Java and Angular development for both internal and external users, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional IT and Business teams to deliver software solutions that meet evolving business needs. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in both front-end and back-end development, Oracle PL/SQL, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing for high-performance, scalable applications.
Functional alignment within the tribe may involve areas such as Quotation, Account Management, Finance, Events Management Maintenance, Insurance & Body Repair, or Vehicle, Logistics & Remarketing.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Develop solutions aligned with squad/product requirements.
- Deliver high-quality code and solutions that meet or exceed requirements, with a focus on minimizing defects.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement and innovation processes.
Contributing Responsibilities
- Support the Arval IT Development initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of higher quality and more maintainable business solutions.
- Actively participate in daily stand-ups and sprint activities, supporting squad members while completing assigned tasks to a high standard.
- Ensure the execution of unit testing and other quality assurance activities to minimize defects and enhance code quality.
Business And/Or Technical Skills
- Develop software adhering to development and security standards, incorporating data and security objectives.
- Optimize existing code for improved performance and maintainability.
- Integrate software packages and contribute to the definition of system configurations.
- Implement and/or contribute to the creation of test strategies.
- Install product deployment tools across various environments.
- Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements, innovations, and best practices in software development.
- Assist in upgrading and maintaining technical documentation.
- Contribute to process improvements within your area of activity and maintain technical expertise for legacy systems.
- Participate in internal and external developer networks to share best practices and knowledge.
