About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Java Customer Support Engineer to join our team at Fort Technologies. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing expert technical assistance to our valued customers who utilize our cutting-edge Java-based software products. Your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring a seamless experience for our user base across Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Telangana, Chennai, and Pune.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional technical support for Java-based software, focusing on effective troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Engage with customers via phone, email, and chat to thoroughly understand and address their technical questions and challenges.
- Collaborate closely with our development teams to escalate critical customer-reported issues and ensure their prompt and efficient resolution.
- Leverage your expertise in Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Kafka to pinpoint and resolve customer-related technical problems.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, troubleshooting procedures, and implemented solutions.
- Contribute to the creation and upkeep of our knowledge base, FAQs, and comprehensive support documentation.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance customer support processes and workflows, driving overall customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Software Support Engineer capacity, ideally within a Java-centric environment.
- Strong command of Java programming and its associated frameworks, including Spring and Hibernate.
- Demonstrated experience with message brokers such as Kafka, particularly in event-driven architectures.
- Proven ability in problem-solving and debugging complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.
- A dedicated customer-centric approach and a passion for delivering outstanding support.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
