About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Java Customer Support Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru/Bangalore. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing top-tier technical assistance to our valued customers utilizing our advanced Java-based software products. Your primary focus will be on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring a seamless experience for our user base.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert technical support to clients using our Java software, including comprehensive troubleshooting and efficient issue resolution.
- Engage with customers via multiple communication channels such as phone, email, and chat to thoroughly understand and address their technical inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate closely with our development teams to effectively escalate and prioritize customer-reported issues, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolution.
- Leverage deep knowledge of Java, Spring, Hibernate, Kafka, and other related technologies to accurately diagnose and resolve customer technical problems.
- Maintain detailed and clear documentation of customer interactions, troubleshooting procedures, and implemented solutions.
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of our knowledge base, including FAQs and essential support documentation.
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement of customer support processes and procedures to elevate overall customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications
- Possess 2-3 years of experience as a Software Support Engineer or in a comparable role, ideally within a Java-centric environment.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Java programming and associated frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
- Have hands-on experience with message brokers such as Kafka, particularly in the context of event-driven architectures.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving acumen and advanced debugging capabilities.
- Possess the ability to articulate technical information effectively to diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.
- Maintain a consistently customer-focused mindset with an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional support services.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
