Java Backend Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Java Backend Engineer based in Cincinnati, OH for a W2 Contract position. This role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and modernizing backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable, reusable software solutions focused on application containerization and microservices architecture.
• Leverage deep hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Utilize AWS services for secure, cloud-native development.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong proficiency in application modernization and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Backbase APIs is a significant plus for this specific role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage microservices environments effectively.
