Jamf Engineer

About the Role

As a Jamf Engineer with our Delivery Services Team based in India for remote work across North America, you will design, implement, and support enterprise Apple device management solutions. This contract role offers immediate start through December 31, 2026.

Your Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain Jamf Pro to manage macOS, iOS, and iPadOS devices in large-scale environments.
• Implement secure device enrollment workflows using Apple Business Manager and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE).
• Develop configuration profiles, policies, smart groups, and device restrictions for network connectivity, VPNs, certificates, and encryption.
• Packaging, deploying, updating applications via Jamf Self Service, including troubleshooting installation issues.
• Integrate Jamf with identity providers (e.g., Entra ID, Okta), certificate services, security tools, and ITSM platforms.
• Create Bash or Zsh scripts for automation of device management tasks.
• Troubleshoot enrollment failures, configuration conflicts, and integration errors effectively.
• Monitor inventory compliance, OS update status, and test changes before production deployment.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and service desk teams to ensure reliable user experiences.
• Maintain technical documentation, standards, runbooks, and operational procedures.

We're Looking For:

Demonstrated enterprise Jamf Pro implementation experience, strong Apple OS knowledge, proficiency in device enrollment/profiles/scripting, and integration skills. Familiarity with PKI/SCEP/SSO is a plus.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Jamf certification
• Experience with Jamf Connect or Jamf Protect
• Migrations to/from other MDM solutions
