Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Analyst - IT Security

Join The Citco Group Limited's Global Security team as a GSOC Analyst in Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Telangana, India. This critical role involves monitoring, triaging, investigating, and responding to a wide range of security scenarios across our global operations. You will implement function-based procedures with clear, actionable steps, leveraging strong investigative skills, meticulous data analysis, and decisive action under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

Incident Management & Response

• Monitor and analyze alerts from access control, alarms, and camera feeds.
• Triage, analyze, and data mine information from various sources (camera footage, access logs, incident reports) to identify patterns and threats.
• Conduct initial analysis and day-to-day duties to support detailed investigations.
• Execute procedures for physical security incidents, emergency responses (fire, active threats), and breaches.
• Initiate verification and containment steps, including reviewing live camera feeds, checking access logs, and remotely locking doors.
• Escalate incidents to GSOC and security management as per protocols.
• Meticulously document all incident details, root causes, and corrective actions.

Access Control & Badging

• Manage procedures for employee access, including outboarding, DNA (Do Not Allow Access) requests, and badge issuance.
• Verify employee identities and coordinate with HR for appropriate access levels.
• Investigate and respond to unauthorized access attempts, lost/stolen badges, and tailgating incidents using camera footage and access logs.

Monitoring & Maintenance

• Perform daily health checks of security systems (cameras, sensors) and log issues for resolution.
• Respond to security incident calls and system alerts for camera tampering, offline devices, or unauthorized door access.
• Conduct yearly access privilege reviews with HR and local management for compliance.

Escalation & Reporting

• Follow predefined escalation paths, providing real-time alerts for critical incidents and hourly summaries during active events.
• Generate and submit post-incident reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare briefings for SOC management.
• Handle shift reporting and handover to incoming team members.
• Create weekly/monthly MIS reports of incidents logged and resolved.
• Collaborate with man-guarding teams and other departments (HR, IT) for coordinated incident response.

Skills & Qualifications

Must Have

• Ability to maintain confidentiality, high discipline, attention to detail, and ethical standards.
• Strong problem-solving attitude and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and external partners.
• Exceptional English communication and documentation skills for clear, concise, and actionable reports.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a 24/7 operations environment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Security/IOT Technologies such as access control, CCTV/VMS, intrusion detection, and/or alarm management platforms.
• Relevant Graduate Degree in Engineering (Bachelors) or equivalent.

Preferably

• Experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Certified as a PSP (Physical Security Professional by ASIS).
• Certified in compliance standards like ISO 27001.
• Qualified as an investigator.
• Ability to suggest procedural improvements and work independently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple simultaneous incidents calmly and decisively.
