IT&D Solution Architect

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT&D Solution Architect to join our Research and Development team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving solution design activities within product teams, ensuring alignment with the overall Enterprise Architecture and product stream strategy. You will provide technical leadership, conduct analysis, and perform design tasks for product development. Partnering closely with DevOps and development teams, you will ensure optimal delivery of planned value according to the product strategy and IT objectives. You will also oversee design and integration execution for your assigned product(s), collaborating with the integration platform team, and will own the solution architecture specifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilize problem-solving skills and technical expertise to design, architect, develop, and document advanced technology solutions for complex challenges across Azure, On-Premises, or SaaS environments.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the design and deployment lifecycle, emphasizing quality delivery.
• Lead technical discussions and build consensus among diverse stakeholders, including vendors.
• Offer technical architecture consultancy and design for projects.
• Collaborate with product owners to identify future needs and requirements.
• Ensure solutions adhere to security and compliance requirements, meeting defined business standards, principles, and patterns.
• Design end-to-end application architectures (single or multi-tier) and data security for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Design and document applications hosted on on-premises, cloud provider, or other required platforms.
• Build, migrate, and test Azure / On-Premises environments and integrate services with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, adopting a DevOps mindset.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop strategic plans for maintaining contemporary, cost-competitive infrastructure services that meet business needs.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in enterprise applications, integration, and solution design.
• Proven ability to translate future-state business capabilities and requirements into solution architecture requirements.
• Demonstrated success in delivering new products and services in fast-paced, dynamic environments, particularly within CPG or healthcare organizations.
• Extensive technical experience in infrastructure design, including On-premises, private and public cloud, networking, virtualization, storage, and integration services (e.g., MuleSoft, API Management).
• Proficiency with Azure data services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Cosmos DB.
• Experience with ETL processes using tools like Azure Data Factory.
• Experience designing and deploying single or multi-tier applications in compliance-focused industries.
• Strong skills in designing data models, data warehousing, and data lakes.
• Understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance requirements, including GDPR and HIPAA.
• Experience in modernizing workloads in on-premises data centers and cloud platforms like Azure.
• Skills in optimizing database performance and managing data storage costs.
• Deep understanding of the latest LLM models, machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision, with the ability to advise on model and tool selection.
• Previous experience or knowledge of the Azure/Microsoft Technology Stack at an enterprise level.
• Familiarity with Azure/Cloud Network Services, security services, and identity services (e.g., encryption, Active Directory, RBAC, NSGs, ASGs, firewall policies, Azure Networking services, ExpressRoute, Traffic Manager, CDN, Web App proxies).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell, and Azure monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Experience with Azure-based cloud automation and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Shell, PowerShell, ARM, Webhook, runbook).
• Knowledge of Disaster Recovery strategies, including backups and disaster recovery policies for Cloud/On-Prem Enterprise Systems.
• Ability to rapidly comprehend new technologies and their capabilities.
• Good understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends and their practical application to evolving business models.
• Ability to propose and estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives.
• Capacity to apply multiple technical solutions to business challenges.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.E., B.Tech).
• Mandatory: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
• Preferable: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification.
• Good to have: TOGAF Architecture certification.
• Additional Microsoft certifications in Security, Data, etc., are beneficial.
