About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SRE Manager with expertise in Microsoft Azure to lead our reliability and performance initiatives. This role requires a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly Azure, and a proven ability to manage and lead SRE teams. As an SRE Manager, you will be crucial in ensuring the stability, scalability, and reliability of our systems, applications, and services hosted on the Azure platform.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Site Reliability Engineers focused on enhancing system reliability on Azure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Development, Infrastructure) to implement and improve reliability and performance best practices.
• Develop and implement strategies for monitoring, alerting, and incident response for proactive issue identification and resolution.
• Make informed decisions regarding resource optimization, scalability, and cost efficiency within Azure services.
• Design and implement automation processes for deployment, configuration, and scaling of Azure resources.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve SRE processes and methodologies.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure the integrity and security of our Azure infrastructure.

The Experience We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within Site Reliability Engineering, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing principles, specifically Azure services.
• In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a proactive and collaborative approach.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a plus.
