IT Technical Support Consultant - Delhi
Turner & Townsend is seeking an IT Technical Support Consultant to join our team in New Delhi. This role is crucial in providing day-to-day IT support to our people, ensuring seamless technological operations across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive IT support, including call logging, troubleshooting, and IT administrative tasks such as new user setup, password resets, and PC builds.
- Support and maintain the IT environment, encompassing servers, systems, networks, and various devices.
- Assist in the execution of IT projects and upgrades to align with Turner & Townsend's strategic objectives.
- Support office moves and changes by managing the installation and modification of IT and Voice infrastructure and associated peripherals.
- Maintain the asset database and manage the software register.
- Cultivate strong, positive working relationships with business stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hands-on, remote, and telephone IT support, with at least three years in a similar role.
- Proficiency in user and server administration, including Active Directory & Azure AD (Entra).
- Expertise in MS Windows 10/11 and MS 365 suite, including Exchange Online, Office applications, Endpoint Manager, and Intune.
- Experience with user administration, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange 365, and Outlook within a corporate setting.
- Hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, and VPN troubleshooting and support.
- Demonstrated ability to support a geographically dispersed user base across multiple locations.
- Proficiency in supporting and troubleshooting Office 365 products (MS Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint), anti-virus solutions (MS Defender), and backup software (Veritas BackupExec).
- Ability to support a wide array of desktop applications.
- Experience deploying images and software using Intune/SCCM.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based call management systems, such as FreshService.
- Basic understanding of managing hardware and software assets and controlling the software register.
- Excellent interpersonal and PC support skills are essential.
