IT Support Specialist Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team and enhance the technology experience for our users. This role involves demonstrating expertise in standard IT processes, guiding users on maximizing productivity, and providing training to IT staff on effective troubleshooting. You will lead corporate technology initiatives, oversee new technology implementations, and offer continuous support throughout the technology lifecycle. Participation in investment projects and annual budget planning is also a key responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Project management for equipment retrofits, including PCs, monitors, RF scanners, kiosks, printers, UPSs, and AV systems.
• Deliver high-quality onsite and remote support to end users, including senior executives, resolving technical issues with PCs, servers, mobile devices, printers, networks, video conferencing, WMS devices, CCTV cameras, time and attendance, and access control systems efficiently and with minimal disruption.
• Configure, install, test, and patch hardware and related software.
• Oversee local IT infrastructure, resolving outages rapidly by coordinating with remote IT teams or vendors.
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of resolved issues for future problem-solving.
• Track and maintain hardware/software inventory, and update IT documentation for accuracy and accessibility.
• Perform proactive maintenance and system monitoring to prevent potential issues, recommending necessary repairs, upgrades, decommissioning, and purchases of IT hardware and software.
• Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain quality in alignment with supervisor objectives.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by superiors to support organizational objectives and operational continuity.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support.
• Any Graduate degree is required.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, troubleshooting, and problem diagnosis.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
