It Support Specialist

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide essential technical assistance to our business operations and internal teams in Navi Mumbai and Indore. As a first-level technical support professional, you will be the primary point of contact for resolving hardware, software, and technical issues, ensuring minimal recurring problems and maintaining high customer satisfaction. Your role involves responding to user requests via phone and email, logging and documenting issues, diagnosing hardware and software failures, and implementing effective solutions while safeguarding data integrity.

Key responsibilities include conducting tests, configuring, installing, modifying, maintaining, and repairing computer hardware, operating systems, applications, and software updates. You will also assist with user application testing during system implementations and maintenance, perform desktop system upkeep, apply OS patches, and create/maintain instructional documentation and knowledge-based troubleshooting guides. Additionally, you will manage the inventory of computer hardware assets, peripherals, and software licenses, and conduct scheduled preventive maintenance for computer systems.

The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of experience with IT systems and equipment, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair. You should have a strong understanding of IT requirements in call center and corporate environments, coupled with exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills. Proficiency in technical writing for documenting issues and solutions is a significant advantage. Excellent time and project management abilities, along with outstanding spoken and written English communication skills, are essential. Adaptability to changing work schedules and a strong customer-oriented approach with excellent interpersonal skills are also required. A Bachelor's Degree in ECE, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related IT/Computer field is necessary.
