Full Job Description
As an IT Support Specialist at TaskUs Mumbai, India, you will be the primary point of contact for internal technical assistance, providing first-level support for hardware, software, and technical issues faced by our employees. Your role is crucial in ensuring seamless operations by resolving technical concerns efficiently, minimizing recurring problems, and upholding departmental standards to achieve high customer satisfaction ratings. You will diagnose and resolve malfunctions in computer hardware, software, and telecommunications, ensuring data and system integrity throughout. Key responsibilities include responding to user requests via phone and email, logging and tracking queries, configuring, installing, and maintaining IT systems, and assisting with application testing. You will also manage system maintenance, upgrades, patch installations, and create comprehensive documentation for troubleshooting and procedures. Maintaining an accurate inventory of IT assets and licenses, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting domain, LAN, and network-related issues are vital. You will actively participate in critical incident resolution by coordinating with cross-functional teams and providing timely technical details. Additionally, you will handle system imaging for deployments, manage employee onboarding and offboarding IT processes, and be flexible to work in 24x7 shifts and extend hours as needed. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional IT support. We are looking for candidates with 2-3 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in ECE, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proficiency in IT systems, equipment installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair, along with a strong understanding of IT demands in call center and corporate environments, is essential. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills are highly valued. Technical writing skills for documentation are a significant advantage. You should possess strong time and project management abilities, excellent English communication skills, and be adaptable to changing work schedules. A strong customer orientation and interpersonal skills are paramount.
