Job Summary

Amwoodo is looking for a proactive and technically sound IT Support Analyst to manage and support the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across hardware, software, and network management, ensuring system reliability, security, and optimal performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot operating systems, applications, and enterprise software.
• Monitor system performance, ensure high availability, and perform regular system health checks.
• Manage network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Ensure data security through access controls, backups, antivirus management, and regular patch updates.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues and provide timely resolution to users.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware procurement, AMC, and technical support.
• Maintain documentation related to system configurations, network diagrams, SOPs, and IT assets.
• Support IT compliance, audits, and internal security policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/MAC OS, hardware configuration, and system administration tools.
• Sound understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls, routing & switching).
• Experience with server management, backups, data recovery, and system security practices.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Good communication skills with a service-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms, virtualization, or ERP systems is an added advantage.
• Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, RHCSA, or equivalent will be a plus.
