IT Support Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an IT Support Engineer for our European manufacturer's newly established India shared-services centre. In this remote-friendly role, you will ensure seamless operations by keeping all hardware, software, and network access running without friction.

Key Responsibilities

• Helpdesk & Support: Resolve complex issues related to hardware, software, and user access via the helpdesk. Configure laptops, peripherals, and accounts for new joiners.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix connectivity, VPN, and application challenges for end-users across various locations.
• Systems & Asset Management: Maintain accurate IT asset registers, manage licenses/warranties, apply security patches, enforce endpoint-security policies, and create self-service guides.

Ideal Candidate Profile

You bring 2 to 5 years of experience in IT helpdesk, desktop support, or systems administration. You are proficient with Windows, macOS, productivity tools, Active Directory, ticketing systems, and basic networking. Strong written and spoken English is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+.
• Experience supporting distributed/remote workforces.
• Familiarity with MDM tools like Intune or Jamf.
