Google is seeking a dedicated IT Support Engineer in Hyderabad to join its Corporate Operations team. As an integral part of the IT Support Technician team, you will be instrumental in empowering the people and technology that drive Google's operations. Your role will involve providing frontline user support for all internal tools and technologies. Beyond daily support, you will contribute to significant long-term technical projects, drive process improvements, and develop documentation that upholds Google's innovative environment.
The Core team at Google is responsible for building the essential technical infrastructure that underpins Google's leading products. This team owns and champions the fundamental design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure that form the bedrock of excellent, secure, and consistent user experiences. They are committed to driving innovation across all developer platforms. The team actively analyzes Google's diverse products to develop centralized solutions, eliminate technical obstacles, and enhance existing systems. As a core component of Google's technical strategy, the team has a unique mandate and opportunity to influence critical technical decisions company-wide.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver remote user support, including comprehensive root cause analysis for IT issues across a variety of hardware, software, tools, services, networks, and integrated video and audio conferencing equipment.
- Leverage insights from direct user support to advocate for user needs, collaborating with partner teams to pinpoint challenging user workflows and prioritize effective solutions.
- Coordinate troubleshooting processes and incident resolutions effectively by partnering with and leading peers, vendors, and other technical support teams in a timely manner.
- Develop innovative scripts, tools, processes, or solutions aimed at problem prevention, enhancing user productivity, and automating repetitive tasks as part of continuous global service improvements.
- Provide on-site IT support at distributed office locations, events, and contribute to global projects as required.
