IT Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure by providing essential technical support to end-users. You will be instrumental in maintaining and troubleshooting various IT systems, applications, and network access to support our dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver L1/L2 technical assistance for desktops, laptops, printers, and associated peripherals.
• Manage the installation, configuration, and resolution of issues for Windows operating systems and standard enterprise applications.
• Perform user account management, including creation, password resets, file permission adjustments, and IT onboarding procedures.
• Provide support for email clients (e.g., Outlook), VPN, antivirus software, and collaboration platforms.
• Diagnose and resolve LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity problems, collaborating with the network team as needed.
• Oversee IT asset management, including the issuance, return, and tracking of equipment using ITSM tools.
• Coordinate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and vendors for hardware repairs and warranty services.
• Develop and maintain documentation for incidents, their resolutions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure adherence to IT security guidelines and internal company policies.
• Offer on-site technical support at various office locations as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A minimum of 3 to 4 years of practical experience in Desktop Support or IT Support roles.
• Proficiency in Windows 11, MS Office Suite, and other common enterprise applications.
• A foundational understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Office 365 administration.
• Familiarity with endpoint security solutions and patch management processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective user support.
• The ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
