Full Job Description
We are seeking an IT Support Analyst specializing in Time Physical Access Systems (dormakaba) to join our Pune team. In this role, you will be integral to our global IT service, performing configuration and support for time clocks and access devices. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and resolving configuration issues, troubleshooting device and network connectivity problems, and managing end-to-end time punch tracking from device to server. You will also handle access control configuration, including card and biometric authorization, and participate in IT HCM project management, such as forecasting procurement needs for devices and badges. A key part of your role will involve identifying root causes of incidents, planning workarounds, and proposing alternative solutions. You will also assist in auditing policies, supporting TISAX, and potentially accessing various MAHLE locations. We require a candidate with a technical degree in Business Informatics or a comparable qualification, at least 2 years of experience in IT support systems, and good knowledge of computer networking (DHCP, IP MAC addresses). Experience with dormakaba time and access systems is beneficial, as is familiarity with SAP time tracking processes. You must be proficient in troubleshooting, collaborating with remote colleagues, and working independently within a global team, with excellent English language skills. Experience with functional and technical design testing documentation, understanding requirements, and prioritizing tasks based on business impact are also essential. Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and data management, along with SAP knowledge, are mandatory. Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, time management, problem-solving, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this customer-focused, results-oriented role.
