IT Security Analyst II - Physical Security Systems
Join FIS in Mumbai as an IT Security Analyst II, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our company's information and programs. Your responsibilities will include executing robust security controls to prevent unauthorized access and system breaches. You will actively research and analyze attempted security compromises, proposing effective solutions to mitigate risks. This role involves maintaining and administering critical security systems and policies to ensure controlled access.
Key duties include managing the company firewall, implementing applicable encryption methods, and developing comprehensive information security documentation. You will be the point of contact for information security-related inquiries, utilizing established tools and procedures to provide timely resolutions. A key aspect of this position is the proactive identification of opportunities to enhance workflow efficiency and quantifying the business impact of these improvements for management communication.
You will interface directly with the user community to understand their security needs and implement procedures accordingly, ensuring adherence to necessary security protocols. Furthermore, you will provide regular status reports on security matters to contribute to the development of security risk analysis scenarios and response procedures. This is a developing professional role requiring moderate skills with a high level of proficiency, working on complex projects in multiple technical environments and potentially coaching junior staff.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Execute security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing programs.
- Research attempted efforts to compromise security protocol and recommend solutions.
- Maintain security systems and administer security policies to control access to systems.
- Maintain company firewall and utilize applicable encryption methods.
- Create information security documentation related to work area and complete requests in accordance with company requirements.
- Respond to information security-related questions and inquiries using established information security tools and procedures.
- Resolve and/or perform follow-through to resolve all information security issues and questions.
- Implement and administer information security controls using software and vendor security systems.
- Identify opportunities and execute plans to improve workflow and understand and quantify business impacts of those improvements for communication to management.
- Interface with user community to understand security needs and implement procedures to accommodate them. Ensure that user community understands and adheres to necessary procedures to maintain security.
- Provide status reports on security matters to develop security risk analysis scenarios and response procedures.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
What You Bring:
- Knowledge of network technologies (protocols, design concepts, access control).
- Knowledge of security technologies (encryption, data protection, design, privilege access, etc.).
- Knowledge of network design and engineering.
- Proficiency in time management, communications, decision making, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in planning, reporting, establishing goals and objectives, standards, priorities, and schedules.
- Basic to intermediate decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Basic to intermediate verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization.
- Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees and/or clients.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
