Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage robust security controls to fortify our systems against unauthorized access and cyberattacks.
• Conduct thorough research into security breaches and attempted compromises, providing actionable recommendations for enhanced protection.
• Maintain and administer security systems and policies, ensuring strict access controls are in place.
• Manage and monitor company firewalls and implement advanced encryption methodologies.
• Develop comprehensive information security documentation for your area of expertise and fulfill requests according to company standards.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for information security inquiries, utilizing established tools and procedures to provide timely resolutions.
• Effectively resolve and follow up on all information security issues and questions to ensure a secure environment.
• Deploy and manage information security controls using a variety of software and vendor security systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, quantify their business impact, and communicate these findings to management.
• Collaborate with users to understand their security requirements and implement procedures that accommodate these needs, ensuring adherence to security protocols.
• Generate status reports on security matters, contributing to the development of security risk analysis scenarios and incident response plans.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall security posture of the organization.

What You Bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid understanding of network technologies, including protocols, design concepts, and access control mechanisms.
• Knowledge of key security technologies such as encryption, data protection, system design, and privilege access management.
• Familiarity with network design and engineering principles.
• Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in planning, reporting, goal setting, and prioritization.
• Basic to intermediate problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Basic to intermediate verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences at various organizational levels.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
