Role Overview

As an IT Operations & Security Administrator at Samlicon in Bengaluru, you will be pivotal in maintaining a secure, cloud-based IT ecosystem. This hybrid role balances hands-on technical administration with strategic security oversight, requiring expertise in Microsoft cloud platforms and endpoint management.

Key Responsibilities

• IT Operations & Security: Ensure 24/7 system availability, monitoring, and proactive incident response while maintaining security best practices.
• Identity & Device Management: Manage the full user lifecycle, including onboarding/offboarding, and configure device compliance via Microsoft Intune and Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Data & Endpoint Protection: Administer data security protocols for Microsoft 365 services (OneDrive, SharePoint, Dataverse) and manage enterprise password security via Bitwarden.
• Infrastructure & Documentation: Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and system runbooks. Support vulnerability management and coordinate with external IT service providers.
• Web & Collaboration: Maintain the corporate website (Wix) and manage professional communication channels.
• Governance: Contribute to security compliance efforts, including preparation for ISO 27001 certification.

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Entra ID, Intune, M365).
• Demonstrated experience in IT administration within cloud-first, dynamic environments.
• Solid understanding of IAM, system hardening, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, Firewalls).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware/software and manage third-party vendor relationships.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Zero Trust security models and ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Bitwarden, SecPod/SanerNow, or Zabbix.
